Abstract This note presents an update of the measurements of the properties of the Higgs boson using the full run I collision data sample recorded by the ATLAS experiment at the LHC for the channels $H\to\gamma\gamma$, $H\to ZZ^*\to4\ell$, $H\to WW^*\to\ell\nu\ell\nu$, $H\to bb$, and$H\to \tau\tau$. The combined signal strength is determined to be $\mu = 1.30 \pm 0.12\,\text{(stat)}^{+0.14}_{-0.11}\,\text{(sys)}$ at a mass of 125.5 GeV. Evidence for direct decay into fermions is found at the $3.7\sigma$ level from the combination of the $H\to bb$ and$H\to \tau\tau$ channels with a signal strength of $\mu_{bb,\tau\tau} = 1.09 \pm 0.24\,\text{(stat)}^{+0.27}_{-0.21}\,\text{(sys)}$. Measurements of production and decay mode specific signal strengths and Higgs boson coupling determinations in different benchmark models show good agreement with the Standard Model Higgs boson hypothesis.
