- Der Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup ist eine internationale Markenpokal-Rennserie von Porsche. In der seit 1993 ausgetragenen Meisterschaft werden einheitliche Rennwagen auf Basis des Porsche 911 eingesetzt. Die Rennveranstaltungen werden im Rahmenprogramm der Formel-1-Weltmeisterschaft durchgeführt. De races worden gereden in het voorprogramma van de Formule 1, ze worden na de Formule 2 en voor de Formule 1 gereden. Het wordt georganiseerd door Porsche. De Porsche Supercup werd in 1993 opgericht. Het is vergelijkbaar met de DTM. Er zijn vijftien teams met elk twee coureurs. Deze klasse is de samengevoegde versie van de verschillende nationale Porsche Carrera-kampioenschappen over de hele wereld, zoals in Duitsland en in Azië. Wyścigi te od 1993 r. towarzyszą Grand Prix Formuły 1, a więc są one rozgrywane na tych samych torach i w ramach tej samej imprezy sportowej. Liczba wyścigów w sezonie waha się od dziewięciu do dwunastu startów. Od 2005 r. uczestnicy tego cyklu pucharowego ścigają się samochodami Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (typ 997). Wszystkie samochody mają takie same parametry techniczne. W wyścigu startuje średnio 24 zawodników. Punkty otrzymuje pierwszych piętnastu kierowców na mecie według schematu: 20-18-16-14-12-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1. Od 2013 roku w wyścigach startuje nowy model Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (typ 991). (pl)
