Quantong Jiang, October 24th 1985 (date of birth). Associate Professor, CAS Key Laboratory of Marine Environmental Corrosion and Bio-fouling, Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Quantong Jiang mainly investigate the corrosion mechanism and protection technology of advanced magnesium alloys in the typical marine environment. These studies are all systematic and original. A great amount of original studies has been done on the improvement of corrosion resistance and mechanical strength by regulating the alloying elements, microstructure and precipitated phases of magnesium alloys. In addition, in order to study the service life of magnesium alloy in actual environment, research on exposure test of magnesium alloys has been done in many corrosion sites.
