Our main driver in our work is the need to create and maintain a free and open society built on free culture and free software.
Our services
Since its foundation in 2005, the society has built an infrastructure of services which we happily provide, both for our own activities as well as for activities we carry out for and in collaboration with others. Since 2012, the main activity of the society is to provide administrative support to individuals and organisations working with activities or projects within free culture and free software. In this is included that we, among other things:
- Setup and maintain bank accounts for individual activities and projects.
- Take responsibility for book keeping and audits.
- Offer storage space, websites, servers and other technical infrastructure if needed.
- Manage incoming payments through bank transfers, paypal or otherwise.
- Provide credit cards (MasterCard) to simplify payments by project leads etc.
- Provide card terminals for managing payments during events.
- Manage payments, incoming invoices as well as cash (deposits to bank account).
- Manage salaries, including social security contributions and other reporting.
- Invoicing
- When relevant, VAT reporting
