IIT Jodhpur offers a comprehensive array of continuing and distance education programs, including short-term courses, workshops, online certificate courses, web courses, and internship programs. These initiatives are designed for students, academic and technical staff, professionals, and other interested participants from both within and outside the institute. Our primary objective is to provide learners with opportunities to acquire knowledge and enhance skill sets for professional growth.

The Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) at IIT Jodhpur manages all extension and academic outreach activities, ensuring effective governance and implementation. The CCE operates under the guidance of an Advisory Committee, comprising representatives from each department, which provides strategic advice on policy and program activities.

The CCE’s scope encompasses:

• Coordination of academic outreach activities, including conferences, workshops, symposia, short-term courses, training programs.
• Providing essential logistical and administrative support to ensure the successful execution of these programs.
• Developing mechanisms for future self-sustainability.
