Founding Full-stack Engineer: CarpeDM Dating is an DC-based dating app and startup that caters to professional black women. During the initial development of the mobile application, I worked along side a 2 person design studio to build their web-based member portal and marketing website.
Frontend Drupal Lead: While working for a major consulting company, I was contracted to work with the FBI on their jobs website redesign. I lead a small team of frontend developers and worked along side the design team to implement best practices and standards on the frontend such as web accessibility, responsiveness and performance optimization.
Frontend Engineer: Janus is a modernized retirement benefit calculations tool for OPM Retirement Services. The platform helps OPM RS manage approximately 2.7 million annuitants. I worked on the team as a frontend engineer to help build a complex form submission-based experience.
Software Engineer: MyWorkWeek is an internal clinican-facing application for appointment scheduling. I contributed as a frontend focused engineer on this project building UI, handling incoming patient information, and implementing WCAG 2.0 compliance.
Creative Developement: As a self-intiated project, I built an award-winning experimental website that allows users to create art with the Perlin Noise algorithm.
Creative Technologist/Frontend Developer: While at RP3, I contributed in building the frontend of their current website. I also worked closely with the design team to fine-tune the visual designs, mockups and wireframes before the prototyping and development phases.
