GTM (General Text Matcher)

Get the most recent full version available from http://nlp.cs.nyu.edu/GTM/

The GTM measures the similarity between texts and can be used to automatically evaluate machine translations. GTM is written in Java, and is open source, released under the BSD license. This interface provides access to a subset of the GTM's functionality. In particular, the full version can handle multiple references.

The input files for method #1 must be SGML files that conform to the subset of the NIST DTD for evaluation of language translation (version 1.1), which is located at http://www.nist.gov/speech/tests/mt/doc/mteval.dtd.
