Dr. Vassiliki "Liana" Tsikitis served as Chair of the SSAT Colorectal Subcommittee for three years and currently serves as Vice Program Chair for SSAT. She is a Professor of Surgery and Head of the Division of Gastrointestinal and General Surgery at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU). Dr. Tsikitis began her medical career by earning a Doctor of Medicine from Temple University, followed by a General Surgery residency at Brown University and a fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery at the Mayo Clinic.
