Bethany Roinestad
- Actress
Bethany Roinestad was born in Sydney on September 9th, 1987.
When she was 4 years old, her parents moved back to the United States where she resided in Phoenix, Arizona for the next 3 years. In 1994, she and her family moved to California to work on her acting career. Her first on-screen appearance was a 1997 Payless Shoes commercial.
Times were tough for Roinestad over the next few years. After declining an offer to appear on Disney Channel's "Even Stevens" for "moral reasons" (Roinestad found the show to be too vulgar and far too disrespectful to parents and teachers) it seemed that she would never get a job again.
Lady luck gave Roinestad another chance when she [Roinestad] was offered a role in the 2005 hit horror movie, "Back Slash." From there Roinestad's career skyrocketed. Lindsay Lohan, a little known fan of cheesy horror flicks, saw Roinestad shine in "Back Slash." She immediately called Roinestad up and offered her roles in both "Herbie: Fully Loaded" and "Just My Luck."
After much success in Hollywood, Roinestad returned to Australia where she currently resides.
When asked if she ever considers returning to the big screen, Roinestad said, "I might. I don't know, BackSlash was such a hit and I made so much [money] from it that I don't think I'll ever have to work another day in my life again!"
Roinestad now spends her time watching old Audrey Hepburn movies and eating cheese cubes.
