Maxx Tsai, a member of the Producers Guild of America (PGA), is an international film producer who started his professional career in 2000 and has worked on over 30 films worldwide since then. He founded Titan Creative Entertainment, a company with a multinational legal and financial background specializing in investing in and producing feature films, TV series, and variety shows.
Tsai began his career in Asia, where he worked with director Ang Lee on 'Life of Pi'. He co-produced '20 Once Again' with CJ E&M, a film that broke box office records for Korean-Chinese co-productions. He also partnered with Walt Disney to produce 'The Dreaming Man', the first live-action Chinese language film under Disney's banner. Tsai then moved to the U.S. market, producing 'Bayou Caviar', directed by Oscar winner Cuba Gooding Jr., and 'Crown Vic', which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival. He was also involved in 'Wet Season' by Anthony Chen and 'Manchuria Tiger' by Jun Geng.
Recently, he co-produced the Jury Prize winner of the Cannes Film Festival "Memoria" with remarkable filmmaker Apichatpong Weerasethakul, starring Tilda Swinton and Jeanne Balibar. Looking forward, Tsai remains dedicated to discovering outstanding content and talents worldwide and continues to work on producing projects.
