Growing up in South Louisiana, Bud Joseph Hebert (pronounced Ay-Bear) excelled in sports (football, baseball, track & field, and wrestling) at Hanson Memorial High School. He attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where he was a member of the Rugby team. After college, he moved to New Orleans and began his modeling career. Bud modeled for Abercrombie & Fitch, Wella, Coleman, and various companies.
In 2005, Bud moved to Hollywood to pursue acting. He began his acting training at the Ricardo Montalban Academy where he interacted with various actors, including Ricardo Montalban himself. Since 2007, Bud has been studying method acting, theatre history, sensory work (memory), scene study, acting for film & television, film fighting, and improvisation at The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute, under the direction Anna and David Strasberg.
In 2013, Bud played college football for East Los Angeles College.
