Melodie Walenius

Melodie Walenius, an award winning and innovative chocolatier and cake artist, is the owner of Sweetastic based in Midlothian, Virginia. Melodie is a well rounded musician that turned her creativity into an edible medium and now pours her passion into sugar and chocolate. She teaches classes using specialty chocolate techniques, sculpting with chocolate and cake decorating with modeling chocolate. Melodie has her own line of products that are distributed worldwide. She has been featured in the Virginia Pilot, Richmond Times and Virginia Bride Magazine. She is also a baking partner for Icing Smiles, Inc. Melodie lives in Midlothian, Virginia with her husband and four children.
