Mariana Cardoso

Mariana Cardoso is a young actress, dancer, singer and songwriter who just finished shooting her first feature film as the lead actor.
This past year, was also part of the Portuguese hit series, "Morangos Com Açúcar" (TVI), and played a professional athlete in, "Os Eleitos" (Opto), both streaming on Prime Video.
Some of the other highlights of Mariana's rising career are the famous Portuguese soap opera, "Flor Sem Tempo" (SIC), and the series, "Vanda" (Opto), a co production between SPI, La Panda and Legendary Pictures, available now on several streaming services all around the world, including, Hulu (US).
She made her cinema debut in, "A Praia da Amália" (RTP), directed by Patrícia Couveiro and is part of the new António Correia's movie, "A Mata dos Medos".
Being a good education and training one of her top priorities, she graduated from the Portuguese drama school, Escola Profissional de Teatro de Cascais, which led her to be part of the production of, "The Mountain Giants", directed by Carlos Avilez in Teatro Experimental de Cascais. In theatre, she has also worked with John Romão in, Virgin Suicides, and Joaquim Horta in, "Asinaria" ("The Comedy of Asses"), staged at the Lisbon Roman Theatre.
Through the years, the young actress hasn't stopped seeking ways to evolve her craft, having learned from astonishing national artists like Beatriz Batarda, Miguel Seabra and others, but simultaneously expanding her horizons through studying internationally at Guildhall School of Musical and Drama, in the West End Stage program (UK).
