What I really liked about this movie is that it was filmed on location and not on a studio sound stage - and it shows, as the photography is stunning and really captures that small USA town charm where the residents have created that friendly community spirit. They're all a bit too nosey but that's part of the yocal charm, and we expect them to be overly curious when strangers roll into town.
The storyline is sufficiently compelling and mysterious and I liked the non-stilted, narrative-unrelated dialogue in this unpredictable thriller /drama.
The teenage daughter in this movie is very grounded and adult, and the actress playing her turns in a very good performance, as do the rest of the cast.
Well above average so I'm giving it 7/10 and I look forward to watching it again if only to drink in that lovely sunny Oklahoma landscape.
