Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022)
This blows the entire multiverse wide open
Here's the thing with Multiverses. They allow for endless possibilities. Marvel has blown everything wide open, There's literally endless options and avenues that they can take now. And since we know what major threat is now waiting in the wings, rest assured Marvel is just getting started. Hang on to your butts because is gonna get crazy. I can't wait. Bring on the biggest baddie in the marvel universe. Kang!!!
Astral Chain (2019)
Rad as Hell!
Majority of playing this game is me yelling" Hell Yeah!" At the screen. It's so fun! It's visual asthetic is so interesting and visually pleasing. And the combat is so intense!
The Girl from Plainville (2022)
Why are we trying to humanize monsters?
I take great issue with this series. Especially with it's attempts to humanize a woman who coerced, manipulated and abused a young man. To the point where she manipulated and drove the young man to suicide. The series treats the young woman likes she's some sympathetic person. She is not someone who we should sympathize with at all! She's a murderer. She needs to be treated with the idea that every day that she lives for the rest of her life is another day that a mother and father do not have their son because of her actions. We shouldn't give her any attention.
Pearl Harbor (2001)
The historical inaccuracy of this movie is insulting and lazy
When you portray such a pivotal event as the likes of the attack on Pearl Harbor. Especially on film, we owe it to the memory of the dead to represent the events accurately and represent the details of such an event with fervent commitment to accuracy. The names of those individuals who fought and died in those battles deserve to be known. For their bravery, for the tragedy of their loss, and to respect the legacies that they have left for their surviving loved ones. This film is not an accurate representation of the attack at Pearl Harbor. It overlooks the tragic loss of so many brave souls for a stupid and sappy love story. The visual effects are lazy and sloppy. You can see the USS Arizona memorial in shots of the film. Shameful.
Monster Hunter (2020)
There's no way this is gonna be good.
Out of any video game series that you could adapt for film, why would you choose Monster Hunter. There really isn't a story in monster hunter, I love the games but it boils down to, let's beat this T-Rex to death with a giant sword. Then I can make outfits for my cat slave. There is no way this is gonna be good. Paul WS Anderson is not a good director at all.
The Twilight Zone (2019)
I'm having a difficult time liking it
The thing that sets the original The Twilight Zone apart is that each episode is expertly filmed, especially in its use of longer takes and slow moving panning shots, that cinematography helps to kick the tension into high gear, the new series doesn't do that and I can't figure out why? The cinematography in the first two episodes just did not draw me in, they explained too much right off the get go.
