IWOCL 2025 marks the 13th anniversary of the annual gathering of the international community of OpenCL and SYCL developers, researchers, implementers, scientists and Khronos Working Group members to share best practice, and to advance the use and evolution of these Khronos open compute languages for programming heterogeneous platforms.

This pioneering workshop has been attracting an international audience of leading academic and industrial experts since 2013 and is the premier forum for the community to present, discuss and learn about applying OpenCL and SYCL to solve computationally-demanding problems across a wide range of application domains.

DESIGNED FOR OPENCL & SYCL DEVELOPERS

The Workshop Program

Once again we have a packed program planned including the latest application case-studies, a SYCL hackathon, keynote presentations, tutorials, panel discussions and technical talks and a poster display spanning a wide range of topics. The full IWOCL 2025 program will be published shortly after author notifications (the week of February 24, 2025) and we expect the conference to follow a similar format as previous year’s but with an extended conference due to the number and quality of recent submissions and the request for more time for discussion.

  • One-day SYCL hackathon
  • One-day of tutorials
  • Three-day conference, including panel discussions and keynotes

All our sessions are aimed at developers looking to learn more about OpenCL and SYCL and we aim to provide developers a wealth of best practices and knowledge. IWOCL also provides ample opportunity to connect with other developers, vendors and ecosystem partners during the networking breaks, Q&A sessions, panel discussions, and during the official conference dinner and social evenings.
