Calculating percent error

To calculate percent error, take the absolute value of the difference between the accepted and measured values, divide by the accepted value, and multiply by 100. The accepted value is the actual or given value, while the measured value is what was obtained experimentally. The difference between accepted and measured values in the numerator must be a positive number.
