Its me!

Tammo van Lessen is Senior Consultant with innoQ Deutschland in the field of SOA & BPM. He is an elected member of the Apache Software Foundation and PMC chair of Apache ODE. He co-authored a German book on BPEL and was a member of OMG’s BPMN 2.0 Finalization Task Force. He published several academic and non-academic articles on Web services & business process execution and is a regular speaker on national and international conferences.

Besides the professional hat he wears an academic hat when working on his PhD thesis supervised by Prof. Dr. Frank Leymann at the Institute of Architecture of Application Systems, Stuttgart. His research interests are in the areas WS-*, SOA and BPM. He also participated in the EC-funded SUPER project, which aimed at combining Business Process Management (BPM) with Semantic Web. Most of this stuff he can’t explain his grandpa.

He holds a “Dipl.-Inf.” degree in Computer Science (Software Engineering) from the University of Stuttgart, Germany.
