Despite six reported self-harm incidents up to 17 August, he said she had been "consistently" making progress since leaving home and that self-harm was "decreasing".

"They're on the list for joint replacement, for example, and they're in pain. Their pain is getting worse. The mobility is decreasing. They're possibly no longer able to work and on increasing doses of painkillers".

While flu activity remains high, it may be decreasing.

"My mobility was decreasing and I was going to end up in a wheelchair with my children pushing me," she said.

"The deep ocean is impacted by climate change similar to the shallow ocean — decreasing oxygen, increasing acidity and temperature will all have profound impacts."
