Dr. Sharif M. Abu Karsh is associated professor of finance and dean of the Faculty of Administrative and Financial Sciences at the Arab American University, Palestine, for the period 2012 – 2016. His research interest focus on financial technology, business education, microfinance institutions, behavioral finance, and credit risk management. Dr. Abu Karsh served as professor and dean of the school of finance and management, Hebron University, Palestine, for the period 2007 – 2011. He has more than twenty five years of academic experience at Palestinian universities. He did his PhD in finance from the University of Santo Tomas Philippines. Dr. Abu Karsh has published a number of peer reviewed papers in preferred academic journals and chapters in edited books. He also participated in several seminars, forums and workshops and presented various academic as well as research papers at several high profile international conferences.

A cross sectional descriptive study was conducted to assess the perceptions of banks employees working in branches of banks operating in Palestine and specialized departments on the strategic plans development process. A sample of 407 Palestinian banks employees was targeted out of total population estimated of about 7001. Study data was collected using self-administered questionnaire. The total questionnaire distributed were (407), (320) were filled and sent back which made the response rate (78.6%). The results showed that there is an existence of strategic planning in the targeted banks operating in Palestine, the various dimensions used for the assessment of strategic planning show a consistency of the fac...

The mapping of information technologies to learning models identifies technologies in which business schools should invest in order to improve their educational environment and quality.

Higher education is the bedrock of every nation that the Pandemic has ravaged. The entire educational system has unexpectedly moved to digital, creating a serious challenge for both students and teachers to adapt to. Is it a challenge, a boon, or a bane for counties in the MENA region to have their higher education systems turned upside down? The complexities of online education will be discussed in this report. The study employed qualitative techniques, which were accomplished through desktop review. The result indicates that eLearning is both boon and bane on higher education in countries in the MENA region. As a result, we can conclude that the eLearning education system should be geared up, and internet accessibility in the MENA region should be strengthened.
