Catherine McLoughlin
Catherine undertakes research and teaching in the undergraduate and post-graduate programs in the School of Education.
Catherine's current research focuses on the development of innovative and effective pedagogies that utilise ICT and social software tools, and how assement strategises can enable studetns to become more self-regulated, independent learners. She is also investigating and publishing in a number of areas such as e-safety and digital literacy, motivational strategies and metacognitive processes.
Catherine has published over 200 refereed journal articles, conference papers and chapters, and several books,and is currently co-editor of the Australasian Journal of Educational Technology
