Data was collected from a random sample using a questionnaire specially designed for this purpose. Multiple regression analysis was utilised to test the hypotheses using the stepwise approach. The study revealed that Six Sigma criteria as a whole significantly affect the competitive advantage; and each criterion was significant and explained a significant amount of the variance in a competitive advantage. The findings of the study also showed that Jordanian industrial companies apply Six Sigma criteria at an average level, and they are interested in the competitive advantage at an average level. This study focuses on the impact of English proficiency on the academic performance of a heterogeneous sample data of 760 students with diverse nationality, age, gender, study level, and programs, for a chosen semester. The researcher depends on the Expost facto study, as the model of Neil J. Salkind (2010), the data extracted from the students' transcripts, which showed the CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average ), English language test score and the number of credit hours ( Cr.) earned until the semester under study. The researcher keens to examine first, the correlation between the English Language test score obtained by the students and the student's performance. Second, to investigate the proportional forward of the CGPA on related to the number of earned hours accomplished. The researcher raised other concern regarding the English language course might be added for the study plan through a student’s survey collected from around 349 students who their CGPA less than 2.5 points 47% of the same data under the study. Keywords: Business college; language Tests; English proficiency; academic performance; Earned hours.

During the last few years, many Universities have started upgrading their existing LMS by shifting to advance LMS. This shift requires students, academic as well as administrative staff to get acquainted with the functioning of the new system at the earliest, as any change in the system may impact their performance. The transition from old to new LMS requires time and affects the performance of users, especially administrative staff performance. The present study tries to investigate the effect of the transition on the performance of the administrative staff. The task-technology fit (TTF) model was adopted as the theoretical framework for the study. The data analysis was done using the PLS-SEM, to test the hypothesized relationships. The findings of the study confirm that mere usage of the new technology did not improve the performance rather, the task and technology characteristics need to be coordinated appropriately.
