Congratulations to AIBN researchers Professor Yusuke Yamauchi and Professor Lianzhou Wang, who have been featured in the on the internationally-renowned Clarivate Highly Cited Researchers 2020 list.
Professor Yamauchi and Professor Wang were among 34 University of Queensland researchers who made the 2020 list, up from 29 last year.
The list recognises researchers who have published a high number of papers that rank in the top 1% most-cited in their respective fields. It is produced by the Web of Science Group, a Clarivate Analytics company, which organises the world’s research information to enable academia, corporations, publishers and governments to accelerate the pace of research.
Those making the list cover fields as diverse as agricultural, plant and animal sciences, medicine, chemistry, environment and ecology, social sciences, biology, and psychology.
Professor Yamauchi achieved Highly Cited status in the fields of Chemistry and Materials Science.
Professor Lianzhou Wang achieved Highly Cited status in the category of ‘Cross-Field’ which recognises contributions to highly cited papers across several different fields.
Professors Yamauchi and Wang had been recognised in the Clarivate Highly Cited Researchers 2019 list and their inclusion again this year is a reflection of their continued high-standing among the world’s most influential researchers.
