In this technological infusion era, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) integration in teacher education program and teaching practices of teachers in the making, is a complicated and challenging issue. As far as pre-service teachers are concerned, they need to be e-teachers. This means not only they should be able to use digital technologies, tools and resources, but also to change the pedagogy, to integrate ICT as tool for pedagogic enrichment [UNESCO]. Keeping in view the ever emerging and increasing demands of the present day need the researcher has initiated to study perception of pre-service teachers towards this pertinent issue. The objective of this study is hence, to study preservice teachers' perceptions of ICT integration in teacher education program and its association with their teaching practices. For collection of data, the students of Aligarh Muslim University were chosen. The sample was a purposive one, consisting of one hundred (100) pre-service teachers from the subject domains of languages, social sciences, mathematics and science. A close ended questionnaire was used as a tool for data collection. The obtained Quantitative data was analyzed by calculating simple frequencies and percentage. The results showed that pre-service teachers perceived lack of infrastructural facilities in terms of ICT integration in teacher education program in the country. Furthermore, integration of ICT in teacher education program in India is insufficient with respect to internet access and its use during training period as well as during course work and teaching practices.

The investigator, being inspired by the tremendous use of Internet in different fields, is interested to investigate its influence on learning and satisfaction of undergraduate female students of AMU. So, this paper is aimed to explore the frequency of Internet Browsing, purpose of Internet Browsing, influence of Internet Browsing on Learning and level of Satisfaction of undergraduate female students after Browsing Internet. A self-constructed Questionnaire is used to collect data from the sample comprising of 183 undergraduate female students of four faculties of AMU Aligarh, i.e. Arts, Commerce, Science and Social Science. The data obtained was analyzed using frequency tabulation and percentage to draw conclusions. The findings of the study revealed that the majority of the users from all the faculties use the Internet almost daily. Most of the respondents use Internet for Academic purpose, whereas a remarkable percentage of respondents of faculty of Social Science use Internet for Entertainment also. Internet is having positive influence on learning of the respondents as majority of them agreed that Internet is influencing their learning positively. Furthermore, the majority of respondents of Commerce faculty (83.3%) feel partially satisfied after using Internet. On the other hand, more than half of the respondents of faculty of Social Science feel fully satisfied after Internet Browsing. It can be concluded that the respondents differ in their level of satisfaction after using Internet.

The study has been conducted on the graduate students of Aligarh Muslim University falling under three different streams, viz, commerce, science and arts. It has been concluded from the present study that aesthetic values are the lowest of all the values in graduate level students and economic values are the next lowest. Contrary to this, religious value occupies the highest place in all the groups of students. Secondly, the graduate level students who offered different streams were found to have developed different value profiles. Their subjects affected their value system to give a different shape to their personality. It has become obvious from the present study that the subjects studied by students have a direct bearing on their value profile. Our system of education, theref...

Education has a central role to play in the realization of SDGs. In this context, the place of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) has become more important. Environmental Education (EE) is used as a tool for ESD at school level in India. The implementation of EE in the formal school curriculum has been structured by two national policy documents: the National Curriculum Framework 2005 and the directive of the Supreme Court. Following the directive, NCERT has developed a graded syllabus for EE for class 1 to 12 standards. At secondary school level, infusion model has been adopted for imparting EE. The present paper focuses upon the current status of EE at secondary school level in India. It analyses the effectiveness of infusion model for class IX and X. Furthermore, it makes recommendations for making EE more effective. It is hoped that the sug...

The research with 200 participants was carried out in three phases: field study, pilot survey and main survey. The results indicate that elearning and ICT significantly affects learning. This study offers a comprehensive research model for further examination in universities in Yemen and provides the learning characteristics with practical suggestions.

In fact, the concern for the environmental problems has never been so high as it is now. It is essential to reorient the attitude and behaviour towards the use of environmental resources with great caution and control. It is indispensable to educate the school children about the present environmental conditions. Education system is not only supposed to impart instruction to the student but attitude and behaviour within students about the immediate environment. Attitude and behaviour towards the environment of Secondary School Children are a matter of great concern for all those related to education.
