Tony Rodríguez
Architect and Master in Architecture from the University of Yucatan. Ph.D. in Architecture with honors from UNAM in 2012. He has collaborated on research, projects and restoration and conservation of cultural built heritage of Yucatan and other states.
Among his professional awards include: Honorable Mention in design competitions ENEA (National Encounter of Architecture Students) and Alberto J. Pani UNAM, Honorable Mention in V Yucatan Architecture Biennale, 2005 in the category Restoration of Monuments, 2nd prize in the historical essay contest "Jorge Ignacio Rubio Mane" PROHISPEN, Award of the Mexican Academy of Sciences for Best Doctoral Thesis in Humanities 2012, Honorable Mention for Doctoral Thesis in the "Francisco de la Maza" Prize, INAH, 2013, Silver Medal at the X Yucatan Architecture Biennale to Thesis, Honorable Mention Award in the XVIII National Architecture Biennale and Silver Medal "Alfonso Caso" UNAM.
He participated as an advisor to the ASINEA East Region for the XXIV ENEA Ciudad Juarez (2012), and since 2014 he is a national evaluator for ANPADEH (National Association of Architecture Schools and Living Space Disciplines).
He currently teaches - full-time researcher at the School of Architecture at the Anahuac Mayab University and member the National Researchers System (SNI-1).

In its 28th edition, the main theme of the meeting was to design infrastructure for knowledge, conservation of natural resources and community development in an important portion of the water system of the Yucatan peninsula. Given the complexity of the subject and its necessary approach from the transdiscipline, all the inputs were provided to the participants to speed up their assimilation, however, as this article wishes to show, were the counseling processes provided by a special team of advisors who influenced more directly in some of the winning projects in their team stage, revealing as a key factor that gave an advantage to those students who asked for help from experts in the subject to be developed.
