A short official history of the cathedral, aimed at a general audience. Written by the canon residentiary of Bristol Cathedral, with a preface by the Dean of Bristol. While superseded in many respects by later works, the book provides an accessible introduction and a window on how the cathedral saw itself and its history during the interwar period.
