What era is Arth?

Arth is modern-day play with some custom content set in a single facet: Felucca.

Is there item insurance?

Yes, when you die you will NOT lose your items if they are insured.

Is Arth Hosted on a cloud?

We will be going to a cloud service soon. How soon? Sometime before Beta. We will keep everyone updated.

What is different about Arth?

Arth has created a world full of exploration, hidden locations and bosses to find. Many secrets may never be revealed or perhaps the player will find a secret location and make billions farming its content and selling it to other players. This just just one of the things, there are too many to list here.

If the only facet is Felucca, how will new players get to New Haven?

We have created a new area, "New Player Island", where players will start. This will allow the player to train their skills to 50 and even fight some unfamiliar bosses.

So, we are all getting a free Mythic Token?

Only if you sign up by March 1st. If you have any interest at all in playing, you should login before then do you are not left out. You can sign up above.

What are these bag drops I keep hearing about?

So bag drops are referring to 5 bag types one can get while killing special mobs notated by the color of their name as you enter an area.

Items rank between Tier 1 - Tier 2, with Tier 3 being the most rare. These are the 5 types:

Alpha Bag - These will be known by their green color and will produce an item that belongs only to that specific creature. These Items are the lowest in power and are considered common.

Beta Bag - These will be known by their blue color and will produce an item that belongs only to that specific creature. These Items are still considered low level and are uncommon.

Gamma Bag - These will be known by their purple color and will produce an item that belongs only to that specific creature. These Items are considered medium level and are rare.

Omega Bag - These will be known by their orange color and will produce an item that belongs only to that specific creature. These Items are considered high level and are ultra-rare.

Mythic Bag - These will be known by their red color and will produce an item that belongs only to that specific creature. These Items are considered the highest level and are items of legend. These items only drop from red named bosses.

So basically, on Arth there isn't just 4 or 5 hot spots to farm. There are hundreds.

Why is there only the Felucca facet?

Because we want a world were people will interact with one another and we want pvp to be in the world. Because there are so many locations to farm, the pvmer can easily get lost from the reds and enjoy the game they want to play.

What about resurrection killing?

We are adding a 30 second timer so that people cannot be instantly killed after resurrecting.

Will you be able to dismount or disarm in Arth?

Yes, but you won't be able to be disarmed or dismounted back to back like on other shards. Their will be a timer that prevents you from being dismounted or disarmed for 20 seconds after you have last been disarmed or dismounted.

Will I spawn on this New Player Island and how long should I stay there?

Yes, when you create a character that character will be on new player island. You can leave at anytime but that character will NOT be able to return unless he marked a rune there.

There are items to be gotten in New Player Dungeon, so I would stay there a while to farm before I left.

Can you list some features that are unique to Arth?

Stats

Stat cap will now be based on race:

Gargoyles Strength 160 (Instead of 150)

Humans Dexterity 160 (Instead of 150)

Elves Intelligence 160 (Instead of 150)

Skills

Arms Lore - Acts as a damage reduction to weapon based attacks.

Resisting Spells - Lowers damage from spells.

Stealth - Players can run footed speed while stealthed.

Detect Hidden - No longer reveals, instead it allows the player to see the hidden players.

Spirit Speak - It will no longer freeze you to cast and it cannot be interrupted.

Taste Identification - This make it so that the food you eat heals you. The higher the skill, the higher the heal.

Spells

Curse - Reduces resists by only 5 now and no longer applies, weaken, feeblemind and clumsy.

Corpse Skin - Lowers Fire and Poison resists by 7.

Paralyze - Will only freeze you for 2 seconds and gain immunity for 10 seconds after.

Mass Sleep - Will only sleep for 2 seconds and cannot be used on the same person for 30 seconds.

Other

Enchanted Apples - Have a 50% fail rate and can only be used once ever 30 seconds.

Evade - Will only Evade the first attack/spell that targets you and you can recast every 10 seconds.

Splinter - No longer bleeds and only slow walks for 2 seconds. The same person cannot be slow walked again for 20 seconds.
