In this Letter we introduce some field-theoretic approach for computing the critical properties of $γ_{KLS}$-generalized systems undergoing continuous phase transitions, namely $γ_{KLS}$-statistical field theory. From this new approach emerges the new generalized O($N$)$_{γ_{KLS}}$ universality class, which is capable of encompassing nonconventional critical exponents for real imperfect systems known as manganites not described by standard statistical field theory. We compare the generalized results with those obtained from measurements in manganites. The agreement was satisfactory, where the relative errors are $< 5\%$ for the most of manganites used. Although the present approach describes the aforementioned nonconventional critical indices, we show that it is not complete. For example, it does not explain the results for some other manganites, being explained only for nonextensive statistical field theory recently introduced in literature. So, $γ_{KLS}$-statistical field theory has to be discarded for statistical mechanics generalization purposes.

In this Letter we introduce some field-theoretic approach for computing the critical properties of systems undergoing continuous phase transitions governed by the $κ$-generalized statistics, namely $κ$-generalized statistical field theory. In particular, we show, by computations through analytic and simulation results, that the $κ$-generalized Ising-like systems are not capable of describing the nonconventional critical properties of real imperfect crystals, \emph{e. g.} of manganites, as some alternative generalized theory is, namely nonextensive statistical field theory, as shown recently in literature. Although $κ$-Ising-like systems do not depend on $κ$, we show that a few distinct systems do. Thus the $κ$-generalized statistical field theory is not general, \emph{i. e.} it fails to generalize Ising-like systems for describing the critical behavior of imperfect crystals, and must be discarded as one generalizing statistical mechanics. For the latter systems we present the physical interpretation of the theory by furnishing the general physical interpretation of the deformation $κ$-parameter.

We compute analytically the radiative quantum corrections, up to next-to-leading loop order, to the universal critical exponents for both massless and massive O($N$) $λφ^{4}$ scalar squeezed field theories for probing the universality hypothesis. For that, we employ six distinct and independent methods. The outcomes for the universal squeezed critical exponents obtained through these methods are identical among them and reduce to the conventional ones where squeezing is absent. Although the squeezing mechanism modifies the internal properties of the field, the squeezed critical indices are not affected by the squeezing effect, thus implying the validity of the universality hypothesis, at least at the loop level considered. At the end, we present the corresponding physical interpretation for the results in terms of the geometric symmetry properties of the squeezed field.

With such an approach, we are capable of computing the critical properties of nonextensive systems undergoing continuous phase transitions, belonging to the new generalized O($N$)$_{q}$ universality class. We compare the nonextensive critical indices values evaluated from the theory with those already obtained in literature through experiments for various distinct manganites presenting nonconventional critical behavior. The agreement is satisfactory, whose relative errors are $< 5\%$ for the most of manganites employed and as better as $|1 - q| < 1$ which is the limit of validity of the theory. We compute the critical exponents for nonextensive $λφ^{3}$ scalar field theory for all loop orders and $|q - 1| < 1$. We apply the results for both nonextensive percolation and Lee-Yang edge singularity problems. The corresponding systems are nonextensive generalizations of their extensive counterparts. For that we employ tools from the recently introduced nonextensive statistical field theory. The results for the nonextensive critical exponents computed depend on the nonextensive parameter $q$, which encodes global correlations among the degrees of freedom of the system. The extensive results are recovered in the limit $q\rightarrow 1$. There is an interplay between global correlations and fluctuations, once the nonextensive critical exponents depend on $q$. This dependence is in agreement with the universality hypothesis.

We introduce a field-theoretic approach for describing the critical behavior of nonextensive systems, systems displaying global correlations among their degrees of freedom, encoded by the nonextensive parameter $q$. As some applications, we report, to our knowledge, the first analytical computation of both universal static and dynamic $q$-dependent nonextensive critical exponents for O($N$) vector models, valid for all loop orders and $|q - 1| < 1$. Then emerges the new nonextensive O($N$)$_{q}$ universality class. We employ six independent methods which furnish identical results. Particularly, the results for nonextensive 2d Ising systems, exact within the referred approximation, agree with that obtained from computer simulations, within the margin of error, as better as $q$ is closer to $1$. We argue that the present approach can be applied to all models described by extensive statistical field theory as well. The results show an interplay between global correlations and fluctuations.

In this work, we investigate how the anisotropy affects the cosmological parameters estimation. Here the anisotropy is incorporated as a small gravitational disturbance. We calculate the Fisher information for both cosmological parameters $ε$ (expansion volume) and $ρ$ (expansion rate), and we show that the anisotropy introduces oscillations in the Fisher information spectrum. This implies that the estimation of the cosmological parameters is sensible to the direction of the momentum $k$ of particles. In addition, we observe that for small values of the momentum $k$ there is a substantial difference between the Fisher information spectrum for the minimum and conformal couplings.

We investigate a quantum teleportation process between two comoving observers Alice and Bob in an anisotropic expanding spacetime. We found that for the polar angle $φ= \fracπ{2}$ and the azimuthal angle $θ\neq \frac{3π}{4} + nπ$ with $n = 0, 1, 2, ...$ the efficiency of the process decreases, i.e., the fidelity is less than one. In addition, it is shown that the anisotropic effects on the fidelity becomes more significative in the regime of smooth expansion and the limit of massless particles. On the other hand, the influence of curvature coupling becomes noticeable in the regime of fast expansion (values of $\fracρω \gg 1$).

We show that this method is very similar to its counterpart in massless field theory. In particular, the choice of using the bare mass at higher perturbative order instead of employing its tree-level counterpart eliminates all tadpole insertions at that order. As an application, we compute diagrammatically the critical exponents $η$ and $ν$ at least up to two loops. Three-loop field renormalization for scalar field theory with Lorentz violation
Authors:

Abstract:
Applying the counterterm method in minimal subtraction scheme we calculate the three-loop quantum correction to field anomalous dimension in a Lorentz-violating O($N$) self-interacting scalar field theory. We compute the Feynman diagrams using dimensional regularization and $ε$-expansion techniques. As this approximation corresponds to a three-loop term, to our knowledge this is the first time in…

As this approximation corresponds to a three-loop term, to our knowledge this is the first time in literature in which such a loop level is attained for a LV theory.

Mass Renormalization in Lorentz-violating Scalar Field Theory
Authors:
Paulo R. S. Carvalho
Abstract:
In this work we evaluate the $γ_{m}$ function corresponding to mass renormalization for O($N$) scalar field theory with Lorentz violation. We calculate this function up to two-loop order for a theory renormalized utilizing the counterterm method in the minimal subtraction scheme with Feynman diagrams regularized using dimensional regularization.

Abstract:
We introduce the "partial-$p$" operation in a massive Euclidean $λφ^{4}$ scalar field theory describing anisotropic Lifshitz critical behavior. We then develop a minimal subtraction a la $Bogoliubov-Parasyuk-Hepp-Zimmermann$ renormalization scheme. As an application we compute critical exponents diagrammatically using the orthogonal approximation at least up to two-loop order and show their equiva…

As an application we compute critical exponents diagrammatically using the orthogonal approximation at least up to two-loop order and show their equivalence with other renormalization techniques. We discuss possible applications of the method in other field-theoretic contexts.

Abstract:
We present the Callan-Symanzik-Lifshitz method to approaching the critical behaviors of systems with arbitrary competing interactions. Every distinct competition subspace in the anisotropic cases define an independent set of renormalized vertex parts via normalization conditions with nonvanishing distinct masses at zero external momenta. Otherwise, only one mass scale is required in the isotropic behaviors. At the critical dimension, we prove: i) the existence of the Callan-Symanzik-Lifshitz equations and ii) the multiplicative renormalizability of the vertex functions using the inductive method. Away from the critical dimension, we utilize the orthogonal approximation to compute higher loop Feynman integrals, anisotropic as well as isotropic, necessary to get the exponents $η_{n}$ and $ν_{n}$ at least up to two-loop level. Moreover, we calculate the latter exactly for isotropic behaviors at the same perturbative order. Similarly to the computation in the massless formalism, the orthogonal approximation is found to be exact at one-loop order. The outcome for all critical exponents matches exactly with those computed using the zero mass field-theoretic description renormalized at nonvanishing external momenta.

We introduce the Callan-Symanzik method in the description of anisotropic as well as isotropic Lifshitz critical behaviors. Renormalized perturbation theories are defined by normalization conditions with nonvanishing masses and at zero external momenta. The orthogonal approximation is employed to obtain the critical indices $η_{L2}$, $ν_{L2}$, $η_{L4}$ and $ν_{L4}$ diagramatically at least up to two-loop order in the anisotropic criticalities. This approximation is also utilized to compute the exponents $η_{L4}$ and $ν_{L4}$ in the isotropic case. Furthermore, we compute those exponents exactly for the isotropic behaviors at the same loop order. The results obtained for all exponents are in perfect agreement with those previously derived in the massless theories renormalized at nonzero external momenta.
