💡 ThincLab’s ThincSeed Pitch Night saw our start-up companies from the second 2024 cohort of the ThincSeed accelerator program showcasing their exciting innovations on the center stage. Over the past few months, our founders have been hard at work tackling pressing challenges to create positive impact from Biomicrology’s malaria diagnostics device enabling faster care in affected areas to Allied AU’s online platform streamlining access to Allied Health professionals which currently suffers from a clogged up system to Able AI’s TenderPilot which simplifies complex procurement processes and ensures compliance to improve competitiveness in the tedious tender process. To Marsupium’s engaging gamified fintech start-up educating youth, to Amplifyo with their SAAS product assisting and empowering time-poor marketing managers, and the attending crowd were treated to samples from Qusion Pty Ltd’s novel mixology machine, making the art of cocktails easy. We also heard from CRW - The Group Connection App whose mission is to combat people’s loneliness of the current era and The Growth Protocol, their solution tackling the food waste issue incorporating hydroponics, vertical farming, and use of vacant land. To all the founders who poured their hearts and hard work into their pitches, congratulations! Shout out to Elvis Chidi-Ezeama (BSc, MBBS, MEng(Biomed)), Germin Chan, Jesse Cordoma, Tim Chopping, Julie LawrieRachel Pearce, Sean McCullum, Joshua Rex and Corentin Paradis. We couldn’t be prouder of the 59 amazing teams of undergraduate students in this year’s #eChallenge, the University of Adelaide’s flagship entrepreneurship course. From healthcare innovation and cybersecurity to music education and art, the innovative ideas on display were nothing short of inspiring! 🎨💡 Each team set up their own booth, showcasing their work so far and receiving valuable feedback from their peers and our supportive ThincLab members. Now, with fresh insights, they’ll be refining their ideas as they continue their journey towards the semi-finals, where they’ll pitch their innovation for the chance to win prizes and kickstart their entrepreneurial dreams. 🚀 At the heart of the #eChallenge is the mission to nurture and empower the next generation of innovators and entrepreneurs, and events like this remind us just how important it is to give young minds the opportunity to explore their ideas and make an impact. We can’t wait to see how the projects of the students will evolve and how they bring their visions to life! 2024 UG Venture Showcase Photo Gallery >>> https://lnkd.in/gNZvifsW Zrinka Tokic | Manjula Dissanayake | Noel Lindsay | Nathan Jones | Sabina Zeynalova | Kat Ortega | ThincLab | Adelaide Business School | Faculty of Arts, Business, Law and Economics - University of Adelaide #entrepreneurship #innovation #eChallenge #ThincLab #UniversityOfAdelaide #VentureShowcase #adelaideinnovation
