Bekket S U N Bronte
Hello!
I am passionate about the arts and my life is a journey of immersion into artistic expression and creative practice. My great joy is to share my findings with others through exhibition, workshops, education and mentoring. To travel the world sharing creative practice with people of different cultures and backgrounds is a privilege.
I have enjoyed teaching and working in France, Italy, Russia, The Middle East, Canada and The United States, and meeting wonderful people with great artistic talent and vision.
In addition to my own creative practice of painting, installation and performance, I enjoy delving into restoration, fresco, museum studies and exhibition practice. I am always curious to engage in new aspects of creating, education and living. Currently, one of my passions is exploring ancient history on site to ignite deep connection with my creative voice, and also the practice of early renaissance painting techniques and restoration. In the near future I look forward to studying scagliola to incorporate three-dimensional mineral components and pigment into my paintings. I am also enthusiastic to bring art out into public spaces for the delight, inspiration and remembrance of the magic of being alive.
