【内藤尚志】大手企業で社員から「追い出し部屋」などと呼ばれる部署の設置が相次いでいる問題で、厚生労働省が企業への実態調査を始めた。まずはパナソニックなど５社への聞き取り調査を先行して行った。まともな仕事を与えられていない「社内失業者」を集め、「退職の強要」などの違法行為があれば、改善を促す方針だ。 厚労省はこれまで、電機大手のパナソニックのほか、業績悪化などで人減らしを進めているシャープやソニー、ＮＥＣ、生命保険大手の朝日生命保険の計５社を調べた。いずれも各社に「追い出し部屋」と呼ばれる部署があることなどを朝日新聞が昨年末に報じていた。 ５社への「先行調査」の結果の一部は、２９日にも社名を出さずに公表する。大企業にこうした部署の設置が広がっていることを明らかにし、ほかの社に注意を促すねらいがある。今後さらに調査を広げて、民法の「不法行為」にあたる退職の強要などがないか、厳しく監視する。
