ITベンチャー投資も博打ではなくなる － ＠IT
2009年度の日本国内IPOは20社にまで減少した。ピークである2000年に比べると実に10分の1であり、ここ20年でも最低水準だ。ベンチャー投資はこのまま衰退してしまうのだろうか？ 公開しないベンチャー さて、元来5社に1社といわれているベンチャー投資の成功率だが、ファンド運営の立場から見ると、実は重要なのは成功した会社以外の、ほどほどな会社の売却である。 手間暇をかける育成型ベンチャー投資の場合、1人あたり担当できる案件の数が限られる。そこで、5社を担当し、5年程度で成功した1社の価値が5倍以上になり、1社が破たんしたとしよう。そうすると、その他の案件が投資価値と同程度で売却できて初めて、ファンド全体の年間利回りは10％を超える。出資者である機関投資家からみてリスクのあるベンチャー投資は、この利回りを安定的に出せることが資金を集める最低ラインである。ところが、日本市場においては、IPO
