2008/09/06-07 にマウンテンビューのGoogle本社で開催されたDjangoConに行ってきました。 -- ymasuda 2008/09/09 9/6 オフィシャルホテルのAvanteを取れなかったので、Caltrainで隣の駅にあたるSan Antonioに宿をとりました。San Antonioにはショッピングセンターがあって、そこから Google本社近くまでバスが出ています。Google本社は意外にこぢんまりとした雰囲気でした。StanfordとかMITみたいなだだっ広さをイメージしていたんですが、どちらかというとけいはんなにあるPanasonicの中央研究所とか、有明に点在するベンチャーセンターみたいな感じ。休日なので、とても静かでした。会場には早めについてしまったので、周囲を少し散歩。Adrian達が到着するのが見えたのでついていきました。会場はGoogleplex

EclipseのPyDevを使用すればDjangoを使用して作成したWebアプリケーションをデバッグすることができます。簡単ですが下記に手順をメモします。 [環境] Windows XP Eclipse3.3.1 Python2.5 Django0.97 1. コマンドプロンプトでEclipseのワークスペース直下に移動してプロジェクトを作成 2. EclipseにてPyDevのプロジェクトを作成する プロジェクト名には「１」で作成したプロジェクトと同じ名前を入力し、プロジェクトタイプの選択を「Python2.5」に設定して「デフォルトのsrc…」のチェックをはずす。 3. コマンドプロンプトで「DjangoDebugSiteプロジェクト」直下に移動してアプリケーションを作成 4. EclipseのPyDevプロジェクトをPYTHONPATHに追加 「2」で作成したプロジェクトを右クリック
