RESEARCH/SCHOLARSHIP IN UD BME
BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING AIMS TO IMPROVE HUMAN HEALTH THROUGH ENGINEERING INNOVATIONS.
UD biomedical engineering faculty are engaged in research areas that span across many disciplines, including research aimed at improving rehabilitation after injury, understanding disease progression, treating disease with molecular and nanoparticle therapeutics, and regenerating tissue. Our faculty are also engaged in the scholarship of engineering education, establishing pedagogical approaches and curricula that further our discipline.
Our research laboratories are located on the dynamic UD STAR Campus and our collaborative student education spaces on the beautiful Main Campus. Our impactful programs are conducted in partnership with other faculty, clinicians and industry partners across the region and the globe.
