In this study, there were 55 college-aged students that participated in a study to determine if t... more In this study, there were 55 college-aged students that participated in a study to determine if the personality types that each student possessed would increase the likelihood of cheating academically, whether it be on a homework assignment, midterm, or final exam. Each student was given a Big Five Inventory test to determine what their personality type was and then the students took an Academic Integrity Questionnaire. These students were selected at random from various class and held different majors. The results indicated that there was no significant correlation between individuals who scored highest in contentiousness and the desire to academically cheat.

The use of neuroimaging has been utilized in a plethora of cases to either defend or prosecute criminals. The practice of neuroimaging has drastically increased in trials related to fraud, murder, and violence related charges. Some of this research also includes a small portion of the historical context in relation to neuroimaging and its origins. This article also establishes a multitude of advantages and disadvantages for the use of neuroimaging in judiciary law. Much of neuroscience that is used in the legal processes hold much evidence about an individual, however, others struggle to see how neuroimaging will provide a clearer picture in order to make a definitive decision of the sentencing that is given. Moreover, the use of emotions and gruesome photographs tested via neuroimaging focused on the juror has risen much suspicion as to whether or not the alleged criminal is being judged accordingly and accurately.
