Jemy Jose Mathew
University of Kerala, Christ Nagar College of Education, Depatment of Mathematics Education, Former Assistant Professor
A highly motivated individual who always wanted to contribute to the education system in our country and look for ways that can help, possibly, improve it. Although my journey started with mathematics, it gradually shifted to the field of education and educational methods as I found it a more enriching experience.
I have a theoretical and practical background in working with educational methods/policies. I worked as an Assistant Professor at the Christ Nagar College of Education, Thiruvallom, Kerala, which gave me a range of abilities to push myself across age/social groups through various educational methods. I worked as a junior project fellow at the Central Institute of Educational Technology, National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), Delhi, for two years, wherein I worked closely with the 'Online Survey of Research in Education', wrote research documents, reviewed reference materials, held review and media workshops and many other responsibilities as and when asked of me and; I cleared the National Eligibility Test conducted by University Grants Commission in 2019.
Apart from my academic achievements, I also have a passion for photography and visual media. I had taken a photojournalism course at the Kottayam Press Club, Kerala, for which I got the second rank. I regularly take nature walks and promote my work by publishing content on social media.
