Is there any standard way to put images onto boxes (Horizontal & Vertical Box) in POD Designer?

Dear SAP Community,

Is there any standard way to put images onto boxes (Horizontal & Vertical Box) in POD Designer?

First thing that comes to my mind is that designing custom plugin which includes an image. Thus, we can put it any plugin container to show the image. However, if the need is more than one image and different images, it becomes effortful.

Moreover, can we change the background color of the blank boxes?

Any help would be much appreciated.
