Hale Mālama Services
Aloha KCC students! We recognize that the excitement of pursuing your academic goals can also be filled with stress and anxiety as you navigate other things in your life (ie., family, kids, employment, relationships, current events, etc.). As part of our 'ohana, we want to remind you that your overall well-being and quality of life are important and we have FREE resources on campus to support you. Hale Mālama offers a safe and caring environment to "talk story" through individual counseling, group settings and therapeutic art therapy. We also offer support through our food pantry, case management services and can connect you to any community resources that you may need. We are here to help you build a solid foundation that allows you to focus your energy on your academics and to fully embrace your college experience. We are located in the LRC and offer both in person and zoom options. To speak to one of our mental health counselors you can schedule an appointment on star balance here, by phone at 808-245-8314, or email at Hmalama@hawaii.edu. You are also more than welcome to just walk in and speak to any of our staff.
