2024 ʻOhana Night

More than a hundred and fifty people, including family members of Kaua‘i Community College, took advantage of the opportunity to learn more about college life during the ‘Ohana Night in June.

‘Ohana Night aims to ready new students and families for the upcoming school year beginning in August. Attendees were able to engage with college faculty, staff, and fellow students, familiarize themselves with the various student support services, and fulfill any enrollment criteria.

Tumua at the Kauaʻi Community College Performing Arts Center

Last weekend's show featuring Tumua at the Kauaʻi Community College Performing Arts Center was nothing short of spectacular. With over 1,500 community members in attendance through the weekend, the atmosphere was buzzing with laughter.

Behind the scenes, operations were flawlessly executed thanks to the expertise of three dedicated technicians who ensured that every sound cue and lighting effect enhanced the show's impact. In addition, a team of over thirty volunteer ushers and ticket takers from both the campus and the local community worked tirelessly to welcome and assist attendees, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable evening for everyone.

As Tumua took the stage, the audience was treated to an unforgettable comedy show. His ability to work the crowd was hysterical! The audience was treated to an unforgettable performance. At the end of the show, as applause filled the air, it was clear that Tumua had not only entertained but also united the community in laughter. For those who experienced it firsthand, the evening was a reminder of the power of laughter.

For anyone inspired by the weekend’s success and is eager to contribute to future events, you can click the button to complete the Google form, to play a vital role in supporting upcoming productions and ensuring that the Performing Arts Center continues to thrive as a hub of community engagement and artistic expression.
