Women, despite their active contribution, are often not given due recognition and counter various constraints. In Tripura state of north east India, women, especially the tribal, are reported to be better placed as compared to rest of the country. The present study was initiated to understand the gender differences in empowerment in farming households in Charilam block of Sepahijala district of Tripura. Three tribal and three non-tribal villages were selected randomly for the study. From each village, ten households were selected randomly and from each household the primary woman and man member was interviewed. The study comprises of 75 sample farmers by following a multi stage stratified random sampling technique. The study reveals that most of the recommended packages and practices (seed rate 10-12 kg/ha, Machine labour 44.44 per cent with 9 to 12 number of mandays of employment generated, irrigation numbers of 4-5 times which was 55.56 per cent) of rapeseed and mustard were used by marginal farm size group followed by small (number of ploughing 5 to 6 times, human labour was utilized 50 to 60 number of mandays, which was 71.88 per cent) and medium farm size group (recommended dose of FYM, 1.512.00 tones, 44.00 per cent). And also adoption of technology of fertilizer and plant protection measure (completely/fully) was observed with maximum (50.00 percent) on marginal farm. A sample size of 160 (80 beneficiaries and 80 non-beneficiaries) were selected from 8 villages based on proportionate random sampling procedure. The present study indicates that annual income for beneficiaries was found to be higher than non-beneficiaries. For both beneficiaries and non-beneficiaries highest employment was found out to be for crop production and least for fishery. It also highlights that Impact of ATMA on average income was highest at Forest and Plantation and least on Service. The study further reveals that average per year family income and employment in mandays generation of the beneficiaries after ATMA has increased.

The addiction was deduced using Griffiths' five components that govern behavioral addiction: tolerance, salience, withdrawal, conflict and relapse. The tenacity of this study was to clinch if Generation Y agricultural scholars' was in fact addicted to social media because of their necessity to sustain their connections with peers.
