DDSA Pre-Graduate Retreat – August 2024

Are you a bachelor’s- or master’s student with data science as a key component of your study programme? Would you like to know more about pursuing a PhD in data science? Are you in doubt about what career paths a PhD may open? And are you interested in how data science research impacts the world around you?

You would probably enjoy spending time with 50 equally curious and engaged students from a variety of study programmes across Denmark. And you would be excited to meet a line-up of PhD students, researchers, and professionals sharing their experiences and answering your questions in an informal setting.

Free? So is participation! You only need to pay your own travel expenses.

Dates: August 14 @ 12:00 to August 15 @ 15:00, 2024

Venue: Rødding Højskole, Flors Allé 1, 6630 Rødding, Denmark (– the first folk high school in the world!)

Transport: We recommend public transport to Vejen Station. We have a bus to take you directly from Vejen Station to Rødding Højskole (and back) free of charge.

Costs: Participation is free, including meals and rooms. Transport to Vejen Station is at your own cost.
