Human-drones interaction for gravity-free juggling
IHM '17: Proceedings of the 29th Conference on l'Interaction Homme-MachinePages 309–314https://doi.org/10.1145/3132129.3132163In this work, we explore a new form of juggling. The juggler interacts with balls carried with nano-drones using 3D gestures. In this paper, we discuss technological as well as interaction issues.

Understanding 3D mid-air hand gestures with interactive surfaces and displays: a systematic literature review
HCI '16: Proceedings of the 30th International BCS Human Computer Interaction Conference: Fusion!Article No.: 43, Pages 1–13https://doi.org/10.14236/ewic/HCI2016.433D gesture based systems are becoming ubiquitous and there are many mid-air hand gestures that exist for interacting with digital surfaces and displays. There is no well defined gesture set for 3D mid-air hand gestures which makes it difficult to ...

Gameplay issues in the design of spatial 3D gestures for video games.
CHI EA '06: CHI '06 Extended Abstracts on Human Factors in Computing SystemsPages 1217–1222https://doi.org/10.1145/1125451.1125679We describe preliminary tests that form the first phase of research into issues involved with the design of spatial 3D gestures for video games. Early research on 3D gesture and spatial interaction was largely the domain of Virtual Reality (VR) [1]. ...
