Abstract
Impulsiveness is a trait that guides human behavior. People who score high on self-report measures of impulsiveness are characterized by unplanned risky behavior and acting without foresight. Character Computing and Automatic personality recognition aim at detecting characteristics and traits from different cues without relying on self-assessment measures. An individual’s behavior during agent-based games is one such cue. In this work, we aimed to detect impulsiveness through two agent-based games: Tic Tac Toe and Colored Trails. The developed agent estimated impulsiveness using Pearson correlation and linear regression with an accuracy of 77% in comparison to self-report questionnaires.
