Abstract
The paper presents a novel method named Ambient Photomontage to ambiently superimpose multiple human and nonhuman perspectives on a user’s current visual perspective. Ambient Photomontage is built on a digital platform for sharing human seeing, capturing the visual perspective of people in the world, and enabling us to share perspectives. Inspired by art, the presentation method of Ambient Photomontage enables people to defamiliarize daily unconscious seeing. Our preliminary user study presents some in-sights into the opportunities concerning Ambient Photomontage’s current design.
