Advanced Information Networking and Applications (AINA 2024)

Abstract

The University of Naples “Federico II,” through its University Center for Information Services (CSI), enhances services through a strategic shift to the cloud. This transformation targets the dismantling of data silos, significantly enhancing service efficiency and accessibility. The hybrid exam reservation system, designed for an improved student experience, seamlessly integrates with the cloud, leveraging advanced APIs and Oracle’s Autonomous Database. This strategic adoption empowers the university to address challenges promptly and autonomously like resource shortages. As we strive to balance our commitment to student services with innovative exploration, the cloud emerges as a pivotal compromise, ensuring our university remains technologically advanced and adaptable to evolving needs.
