Abstract
On university campuses, there are limited channels through which students can access information, leading to limited group activities and, in severe cases, even a lack of friendship. From this, social application software is necessary among college students. This article applies the Kano model to analyze user needs for university campus dating and campus dating application software. It explores the prioritization of design elements and designs dating software functions and interfaces based on user needs. After conducting a Kano model demand survey, refined 13 demand attributes through user demand analysis and Better-Worse coefficient analysis. Finally, the 13 demand attributes were in divided as one Must-be Quality, four One-dimensional Quality, five Attractive Quality, two Indifferent Quality, and one Reverse Quality. The functional direction design includes the privacy function, autonomous function, positioning function, and design of the interface direction from color settings and interface framework. This approach aims to further enhance the design of the application software for university campus dating, effectively meeting users’ needs to improve campus dating behavior, promote campus dating, and cultivate a positive campus dating environment.
