Abstract
In this paper, we describe a context-aware multimodal conversational agent for Android-based mobile devices that dynamically incorporate user specific requirements and preferences as well as characteristics about the interaction environment, in order to improve and personalize the information and services that are provided. The developed App facilitates the interaction by means of speech or using the screen and virtual keyboard. The services that are provided by the App include accessing the latest local and international news, the weather forecast for the coming days for the current place, the results of different lottery contests and events, the movie listings and upcoming movies.
