Abstract
A software program AIM simulating the behavior of an associative intellectual machine (AIM) in various configurations and paths of information transmission among neuron layers is described. The aim is to study the impact of various AIM parameters on the effectiveness and efficiency of information processing in various configurations and modifications of AIMs. The program is written in the interpretative programming language Forth and provides a wide range of options for studying the AIM behavior. It has an open user interface which allows to easily extend or modify the existing toolkit and to conjugate it with other tools for data analysis and visualization.
