Abstract
Modeling and simulation techniques contribute to simplification and economic favoring of the design, realization, tests and running a live operation of control systems. The paper gives practical information about problematic of modeling and simulation of technologic processes in present-day automation. It introduces chosen case studies regarding a cascade control, feed-forward control and control of the processes containing dead time.
