Kurzfassung
Darmkrebs ist in Deutschland die zweithäufigste Tumorerkrankung und wird jährlich bei 32.000 Frauen und 36.000 Männern diagnostiziert. Die Blutgefäßstruktur auf Dickdarmpolypen kann Aufschluss über die potentielle Bösartigkeit des Gewebes geben. Für die automatisierte Analyse von Dickdarmpolypen werden daher die Blutgef äße segmentiert. Artefakte, die bei der Segmentierung durch Rauschen oder Strukturen der Polypenoberfläche entstehen, können zu Fehlern in einer anschließenden Klassifikation führen. Wir schlagen daher vor, eine farbbasierte Unterscheidung zwischen Artefakten und Blutgefäßen nachzuschalten. Diese basiert auf einer Darstellung der Strukturen im HSVFarbraum, einer Verteilungsschätzung durch eine bivariate Gaußfunktion und einer Berechnung der Mahalanobis-Distanz. Abschließend präsentieren wir Ergebnisse für die Gesamtgenauigkeit eines Polypenklassifikationsalgorithmus mit und ohne Artefaktentfernung.
